The Level 3 award provides supervisors with knowledge of the development and implementation of food safety management procedures in line with their responsibilities.It focuses on taking responsibility for food monitoring procedures, identifying hazards to food safety, taking appropriate action in light of those hazards and contributing to improvements in food safety practice.

Who Should Attend
This qualification is primarily aimed at supervisors working within the food manufacturing industry, but will also be of benefit to caterers and retailers.

Course Objectives
On completion of this course delegates will understand how food business operators can ensure compliance with food safety legislation, understand the application and monitoring of good hygiene practice, understand how to implement food safety management procedures and understand the role of supervision in food safety management procedures.
